Oui Madame: French cuisine meets East End hype
Not too far from Dalston, in Stoke Newington, just by a street on the verge of becoming the next hot spot in London, a French enclave revives the memory of the revolution. Oui Madame, in the manner of a 21st century boudoir, combines gorgeous antiques with modern art, which makes it the new trendy place to be in East London.
At the door, the crew’s charming smile will welcome you into their friendly and arty restaurant on the first floor.
The decoration blends French finesse and Brazilian warmth, giving birth to a very intimate and subtle place to have a diner with friends or family.
Let yourself be surprised by the menu, which changes in function of the chef’s inspiration, and takes a new look on typical French recipes.
After your meal or just a bit later on in the evening, enjoy a drink in the basement, which hides a bar called “The Culotte”.
A portrait of a woman welcomes you when you come down the stairs, giving you a sip of the boudoir atmosphere to come.
To delight your taste buds, the menu offers Brazilian cocktails as well as wine and absinthe.
For further information, please follow Oui Madame on Facebook and to book a place please email them.
