Literary Feasting & Culinary Revolution

A literary dinner celebrating Jonathan Grimwood's "The Last Banquet", published on 4th July 2013 by Canongate.
The evening comprises: author talk, Q&A, aperitif, four course book-inspired set menu cooked by Raymond Blanc protégé Sam Hughes (full menu in the attached invitation).
Roquefort, endive, pear & walnut salad
Pike boudin, crayfish sauce
Baked saddle of rabbit stuffed with chestnuts, fondant potatoes, spinach
Branded cherries, honeycomb, meringue icecream coupe
Set during the French Revolution, the title is getting rave reviews: "Brilliantly evocative...a cross between Patrick Suskind and Angela Carter" (The Times).
Time: Aperitifs from 7pm
Date: Tuesday 16th June
Venue: Hardy's Brasserie, 53 Dorset Street, W1D 7NH.
