Given the the current economic climate, it is with enormous regret that we had to take the very painful decison to cancel both the Ball and the Family Day due to take place on 14th and 15th July respectfully.

Axelle Lemaire wins in Northern Europe

François Hollande received an outright majority and is now free to move forward with his programme of reforms. In Northern Europe, Axelle Lemaire (PS) was elected with 54.8% against Emmanuelle Savarit (UMP) who achieved 45.2%. In total, 8 of the 11 new seats created to represent the French living abroard have been won by the left.

Jeremy Menez and Yohann Cabaye’s goals mean France is now at the top of group D after beating Ukraine in a match suspended for 45 minutes due to an electrical storm. Now les Bleus need to draw against Sweden to qualify for the quarterfinals.
