Spearhead of a new French rap generation which knows draws from its roots whilst forging ahead, 1995 delivers their eagerly awaited first album “Paris Sud Minute”.

After two successful EPs and hundreds of shows, the group concentrated on the recording of their first long format. Seventeen tracks strong, the group has chosen to collaborate with various producers from the US, Germany and France.

Recorded over two months, the album offers a perfect mix between the urgency and freshness which characterizes 1995. Whether it is in production, in the lyrics or in the flows, the band shows a much higher level than the groups early recordings. 1995 even goes beyond strictly hip hop : "Jet Lag" and the Japanese influenced production, "103" instrumental track blazing far further what we’re used to in the rap game… Bottom line, we have a first album that should already be a classic.
