Some of the UK’s most sensational movers will battle all-out for the title of UK House Dancer Supreme! Following the success of its first competition in June, Groove Sanctuary is again teaming up with D-Lo Entertainment to bring you this amazing and inspirational spectacle. With £100 cash prize plus a bag stuffed full of goodies up for grabs, this will be another full-on dance extravaganza!

 
As well as the competition, the night will feature dance showcases from Diva La Funk, vougeing/wacking/punking dance specialists, plus Marcus Tucker (USA) and Leslie Black (France) giving a House Dance performance that will set a very high standard for the competitors. Judges on the night will consist of top-flight professional dancers from Denmark, France’s Wanted Posse and Madonna’s dance team.
 
Groove Sanctuary’s weekly Sunday session at Madame Jojo’s has always had a reputation for its uncompromising high quality of music and dancers and that reputation just keeps growing as more and more dancers from around the globe grace Jojo’s floor with their finest moves. It is now the definitive one-stop club for dancers visiting London, for dance students and professionals alike.
 
D-Lo Entertainment has been building a strong reputation over the last few years for putting on some of the capital’s finest club nights and dancers’ sessions, plus choreographing fashion shows, music videos and most recently involvement in the up-coming ‘Street Dance’ movie. When it comes to dancers D-Lo is the man!
 

Special Guest DJ: Phil Asher (Restless Soul)

For this special event is legendary House DJ, producer and remixer Phil Asher. Phil has completed well in excess of 200 of his own productions, as well as innumerable remixes. From his first gig at Legends and London’s first House club Delirium in 1991, to more recent gigs at Inspiration Information, and Soul Heaven at Ministry of Sound in London, Phil has played the length and breadth of the UK, as well as around the world.

Its internationally-acclaimed list of guesting DJs have included Jazzanova, Peter Kruder, Patrick Forge, Bugz In The Attic, Gilles Peterson, MJ Cole, Martin Solvieg, Aaron Ross, Quentin Harris, Franck Roger, Yass to name a few. Groove Sanctuary has one of the most enthusiastic clienteles in clubland and the dancefloor is a showcase for some of the best dancers in the world – these people just don’t know how to stop dancing!
